Poison Apple Productions has been presenting original shows in Contra Costa County since 2000.  Formally incorporated in 2005, Poison Apple Productions is dedicated to promoting the role of young people in the performing arts as audience members and active participants in all stages of the theatrical process.

Poison Apple provides a unique forum for students to collaborate in a creative way with peers and adult mentors, sharing their knowledge and talents with others.  Many of the company’s participants have experience in dance, music, drama, creative writing and voice.  Others are learning backstage skills, such as makeup and hair design, costuming, set building, properties, lighting, stage management, publicity and more.  Poison Apple Productions participants learn by doing!

We currently offer projects designed to engage youth at a variety of age and skill levels.
